Bio - Terrence J

As an actor, philanthropist, broadcast personality and the CEO of a full service entertainment-consulting firm, appropriately titled Jenkins Entertainment Group, Terrence “J” Jenkins is well on his way to becoming the next leading multimedia brand and he is very clear that his passion isn’t solely about making money its about making history!

Terrence’s determination continues to deliver multi-million dollar endorsement deals with Sean John, Rockport and Coogi Footwear and has opened the door to Hollywood. Making his acting debut in Stomp the Yard 2 his acting credentials include Burlesque starring Cher and Christina Aguilera, and the BET hit series The Game, now in its fourth season. Terrence J’s new film project Think like a Man is scheduled to drop March 2012. He will be starring in the film with Gabrielle Union, Trarji P Henson, Kevin Hart and many more. With an undeniable charm, captivating personality and business savvy that rivals entertainment industry veterans Terrence J is one of the most sought after personalities in media today.

Born in Queens, New York he spent his childhood years in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from North Carolina A&T University in 2004. Terrence worked as a DJ for local radio stations in Greensboro, NC while attending school and realized his calling to become an entertainment superstar.  His calling was confirmed late 2005 in New York City when Terrence won BET’s New Faces Search becoming the co-host of the networks most highly ranked series 106 & Park.  Now in his 5th season as the co-host of 106 & Park and the current co-host of BET’s 106, a nationally syndicated radio show, Terrence continues to captivate audiences of all ages from New York to South Africa.
